The Old Glasses Shop has collaborated with Italian artisan producer Feb 31st to bring you a range of absolutely exceptional wooden glasses - frame is handmade in Italy, each is unique.
The frame insert is comprised of sustainable, organically treated fine wood veneers cross grained (plywood style) to give you a strong but very light frame that you hardly notice you are wearing.
From the technicians who select and compress the multiple layers to the skilled women who painstakingly sandpaper the frames by hand to create a beautifully smooth finish - these really are a labour of love and we implore you to try them for yourself.
Don't think that artisan wood means an old fashioned design - quite the opposite. From the advanced computerised design techniques to precision wooden inserts, these frames are ultra modern.
