These were officially licensed by the estate of John Lennon. 

A lovely example of beautiful frames with shiny gold perfectly oval frames and tortoiseshell effect lacquer on rims.  The John Lennon name appears on both temples and the arms are finished with tortoiseshell acrylic ear pieces.
